Some parts seem like they need a lot more reverb. Overall, it sounds like there could be improvements in how you eq'd the synths and the general choice in lead. Not bad, I've definitely heard a lot worse remakes.

Look into mixing and polishing your songs, it'll make them that much better.

Ehh this is a really old song so I'm not to proud of it...

For one thing, with the application I used for this song mixing literally doesn't exist. I now use fl and yes I understand mixing.

This sounds like it was made using a sample pack, especially right around 1:39. I don't know why, it just does.

If there was even the tiniest amount of reverb on most of the instruments I actually might have enjoyed it so much to give it a five star.

Well, four stars for you. Also, very hollow song, but it sounds good in some parts. What DAW did you use for this?

It took me until may 22nd to finally understand what you meant, when i was thinking i had too much reverb i was listening to the drums. But now i see how hollow sounding the other jinstruments such as the sax is, thank you for informing me of this, i wouldnt have constantly analyzed this without your comment :D

I was going to give this a horrible rating before realizing this was a remix and that the song it's remixed off of is even worse.
4 stars for making a not-that-awful remix of a god-awful song

The bass/timpani thing kinda overtakes, the melody isn't that great, the strings don't have any reverb and after a chord just end abruptly.
Overall, just keep making more of this, you'll get better.

Actually there's a master reverb, I just prefer a fairly dry sound and I overlooked that part. The abrupt disappearance of the huge orchestra is part of the story.

This piece was more of me telling a story, although I relied more on orchestration and harmony than I did on building a solid melody. This is less melodic and more repetitive than most of my pieces, haha. Thanks for reviewing though! I actually like (good) criticism when it's necessary
